Paul set up This Green Moon in 2015, because he wanted to bring children and adults back to nature. He studied for a year to gain a Forest School Practitioner Level 3 qualification and since then has gone on to create awe inspiring events and sessions for everyone. He loves all things music, extreme and has an enthusiasm and passion that is infectious.
Ash
Ash joined This Green Moon in 2017 as Events Director and manages the business on a day to day basis, making sure that everything runs as it should. With a background in television production she knows how to put on a good show and throw a good party. She loves lager, laughing and getting her hands dirty, grafting in the woods.
Katie
Katie has been part of This Green Moon from the start, she’s had no choice really because she’s Paul’s wife! She’s also the heart and soul of the woodland and loves dressing up as any character we ask her to be. She’s usually your greeter at the big events. Her ‘day job’ is a primary school teacher, so she’s our ‘go to’ person for education focus.
Charlotte
Charlotte’s been a part of This Green Moon from the very beginning. She’s the boss of Home Ed and does the group roll call on a weekly basis. She’s also a dab hand behind the bar at our bigger events. In her spare time (Wonder Woman), you’ll find her growing the finest organic produce on her allotment.
Phil
The Blighton Bodger himself, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to This Green Moon. Phil (low) makes things out of natural nothing, that are built to last. We have Phil to thank for Swilligog village, the willow fencing, the compostable toilet and probably loads more things he’ll have made, by the time you read this.
Paul
Paul Robinson aka The Yorkshire Gourmet is a self-taught cook and forager, a Yorkshireman through and through. Paul travels the length and breadth of the country, seeking out seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients. He is the flavour genius and alchemist of our Fire and Dine evenings.
Len
The king of the car park and all things helpful. Len is very often the first person you meet at This Green Moon, when you park your car. Len is kind and caring and loves everyone to have a great time. He also likes a walkie-talkie.
Martin
Martin takes care of maintenance in the woodland and has extraordinary physical strength. He’s a real grafter and we really couldn’t do without him, he makes sure everything is kept safe for visitors. He has a keen interest in nutrition and loves a good debate.
Danny
Danny looks after all things structural for us. With 14yrs experience, he knows everything about tipi’s and is brilliant technically. If anything needs doing he’s the guy to do it. He loves the outdoors, his dog and we’re always fascinated by what he keeps in his pick up… a fridge!
Ash
Ash is an integral part of This Green Moon, as the other half of Ash (yes Ash and Ash!), he also doubles up as a waiter at Fire and Dine and you’ll also find him behind the bar. He’s also the creative brain behind a lot of the events so far and also helps out with digital and social.
