THINGS HAVE CHANGED A LITTLE BIT…

In the main camp we’ve arranged the tables to ensure that social distancing can be maintained throughout your visit – so you’ll have your own space at your table and around it to, so everyone is safe. Our numbers are kept to a minimum so you can have the best time.

Here are some of the things we’ll have in place to keep you, and us, safe:

  • All staff are fully trained on our Covid-19 operations and procedures.
  • Pre-booked tables to ensure that different groups are kept separate and that all tables are 2m apart from each other.
  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the site, with stations on arrival and also at the toilets. There are also hand wash facilities on site.
  • The hand wash facilities are pretty special, all controlled by foot pump and very in keeping with our lovely woodland.
  • Our toilets will be cleaned every half an hour and touch points sanitised on a regular basis. 
  • The ability to purchase food and drink from your table with our woodland technology.
  • We’ll accept payment at your table so contactless is preferred but if you want to pay hard cash, thats fine too.
  • Thorough cleaning of every table, using our strict hygiene procedures, once a session ends to ensure the table is safe and ready for the next group.
  • Thorough and regular cleaning processes by every food trader at This Green Moon.
  • All serving staff will practice regular hand washing. 
  • We are a seated venue and will be operating table service for food and drink throughout your stay.
  • Our booking system will record track and trace of named booker and will be stored for 21 days in accordance with the guidance. Additional guest info will be collected from each table and you will receive instructions on arrival. Details will be shared with the NHS, if required.
  • If you or any of your party have any of the main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), get a test as soon as possible. Stay at home until you get the result.

FAQ’s

Who can I bring with me?

This Green Moon as you all know is family friendly, so we want everyone to come and enjoy themselves. Children are counted as a seat on your table booking, however babies in a pushchair or carrier are not. Please be aware we have worked out distances based on number of bums on seats at tables. Also, please be aware of recent guidance, please stay in household groups or support bubbles.

Do I have to arrive at a certain time?

Yes please, the safest place to wait for your table to arrive is in the car park. When everyone has arrived, please all make your way up to camp. This is to ensure that social distancing can be effectively practiced. 

How will we find our table?

On arrival at camp, you’ll be met by our friendly meet and greet team who will guide you to your table and then explain how to order. Our waiting team will provide full table service throughout your stay.

Once seated at your table, please refrain from mixing with other groups, in order to maintain our social distancing commitment.

Do I have to book or can i just turn up on the day?

All tables have to be pre-booked, but this will give you peace of mind that you’ll have a table that can seat your whole group in a safe manner when you arrive. This is in accordance with recent guidelines.

All bookings will be granted entry with an e-ticket, which can be shown either on a print out or on your phone. Don’t panic if you forget, as long as you have the surname of your lead booking then we should have you on our list.

Once our team has sat you down at your table, all you have to do is order your food and drink – then you can sit back, relax and enjoy.

We cannot accept any add ons on the day. Please be aware we have worked out distances based on numbers of bums on seats at tables. Extras cannot be added.

What happens if I am late for my slot?

To support us and ensure that we can practice social distancing, please arrive on time and together with your whole table. This will keep you and everyone else safe and also means that you don’t miss out on your crucial eating and drinking time! All slots are 2.5 hours long per booking. Please don’t panic if you are late, we will get you seated.

What’s included in the ticket price?

All bookings are equivalent to £25 / £20 per person (if all seats on the booking are utilised) and include a complimentary pint of house beer, a glass of house wine, or soft drink, as well as a reserved table for you, table service, a wonderful atmosphere and fabulous entertainment.

Street food is available to order throughout and is not included in the ticket price. 

Due to our table seating plan, designed with social distancing in mind, all bookings are to be made in either groups of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. We cannot allow groups of more than 6 to be seated together.

FOOD AND DRINK – HOW DO WE ORDER?

You will be able to order at your table and all of this will be explained to you when you arrive. You will be given a little pack which explains how everything works. In a nutshell, you will be given a card which says feed me or water me and when you need anything you hang your card on the tree in the middle of your table and we’ll be over quickly to take your order. Your drinks order is prepared at the bar and brought to your table when ready. Your food order is prepared by the vendor and then brought to your table. Then payment is taken. It’s easy and you don’t even have to move!

Can we order at the bar?

In line with recent guidance, we only offer table service. We’re trying to keep our staff safe too remember. We need you to stay at your seat and we will come to you.

Can we pay cash or contactless?

We would prefer contactless, but if you want to pay cash that fine.

Music / Entertainment.

We’ve selected a fantastic pantomime which we know you are going to love.  Following the government guidelines, the music volume will remain at a maintained level and the PA will be distributed around the site to ensure that everyone can enjoy the sound/music at a safe level.

Can our kids play?

We pride ourselves on being a natural playground and we love to see you explore. The rope swing will be in action and we ask that children regularly sanitise their hands. Also, please observe social distancing at all times.

What is your refund policy? 

If, after you have booked, you cannot attend the event, we will try and resell the table. If we do this successfully, then you will be entitled to a refund. If we cannot resell, then unfortunately we cannot offer a refund.

If the event is altered or cancelled by us for reasons outside of our control, for example due to extreme weather or because of government restrictions, you will be offered a full refund. Unfortunately we are now being charged by paypal to process refunds. Refunds will be processed at the cost of £1 per person, which will be deducted from the amount.

By booking a table you have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Bookings are available for tables that can accommodate 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 persons. If you book a table for 2 people, the maximum number of guests that will be permitted entry under that booking is 2 (including children). If you book a table for 3 people, the maximum number of guests that will be permitted entry under that booking is 3 (including children). If you book a table for 4 people, the maximum number of guests that will be permitted entry under that booking is 4 (including children). If you book a table for 5 people, the maximum number of guests that will be permitted entry under that booking is 5 (including children). If you book a table for 6 people, the maximum number of guests that will be permitted entry under that booking is 6(including children). We will allow additional entry at no cost to babies that do not need a seat and are either in a pushchair or carrier. Please be aware of current government guidelines when booking.

Each person receives a complimentary drink (pint of house beer, a glass of house wine or soft drink).

Groups of no more than 6, must arrive together, and on time, presenting a valid e-ticket or surname of lead booker. If you arrive without this info, we reserve the right to deny entry and you will not be entitled to a refund.
